Process Art Studio workshops began as simple weekly art parties in my home for my kids and our friends. My focus has shifted along the way to sharing the pure fun of process art with adults.

You act, they react and you get to just watch the process unfold.
Acrylic Pour Painting
You choose the palette, but the colors take it from there, flowing and mixing together in fantastic bubbles and waves.
Bird Illustration
You work steadily making marks on the paper, but at some point you realize the sketch is looking back at you - it’s come to life!
Shibori Indigo Dye
You choose the design, but the dye decides the intricate path its branching pattens will leave as it seeps into the folds.
Hi! I’m Rashell, art instigator at Process Art Studio.
My very earliest memory is one of making art - dyeing eggs at my Aunt’s house.
I remember the smooth, delicate texture of the eggshells; the intense dyes cups; and the surprisingly subdued pastels as the eggs bobbed in and out of their vibrant baths.
I had absolute shivers of delight and felt like we were manufacturing magic at her table.
Sharing that sense of wonder in watching process art unfold is what my workshops are all about.
