Laura Horn in Australia is my absolute favorite - I love her soothing abstract watercolor, acrylic and mixed media pieces. Her podcast is a constant source of inspiration for me and she offers several excellent, in-depth online classes.
Shibori Design . . .
Annabel Wilson of Townhill Studio in the UK is my very favorite Shibori artist. Her intricate botanical designs really open up the possibilities of what you can represent with stitch shibori.
She has a series of fantastic youtube tutorial videos - do check them out if you’d like to give stitched shibori a try at home.
Bird Illustration . . .
John Muir shares a wealth of knowledge in his excellent bird and nature drawing youtube tutorials.
